Call Out To Local Artists

 

TREE BREWING TAPS LOCAL TALENT 

-- Kelowna–based Craft Brewer to Showcase Artists --

June 27, 2011 (Kelowna, BC) – Tree Brewing has a Tap Room full of award-winning beers, and now they’re eager to adorn it with the work of local artists. The team is searching for creative interpretations of their beer, including the new Dukes Dry Apple Cider, their brewery and their craft culture. 

“We appreciate the time and inspiration that an artist brings to their craft,” says Tod Melnyk, President and CEO, Tree Brewing Company. “We want to recognize our local talent and provide a forum for them to share their work.” 

Winners will have the chance to showcase and sell their work in the busy Tree Tap Room, as well as an opportunity to win ‘beer for a year’. Every artist who submits a qualifying work of art will receive a complimentary 6-pack of Tree Beer or Dukes Cider. 

“There’s a moment when you step back to appreciate what you’ve created,” says Brewmaster, Stefan Buhl. “For me, it’s just a sip away and we want our local art community to get that same feeling when they step into our Tap Room and see their work on our walls.”

Tree Brewery will be accepting submissions until July 16, 2011. All artwork must be in two-dimensional jpeg format and no larger than 22” x 30”. Entries should include name, phone number and email address and can be directed to orderdesk@treebeer.com with the subject line “LOCAL ART – LOCAL BEER”. Entrants are limited to 3 submissions each.
