Tree Brewing News - April 2017
Say HOLA to your new best friend!
Just in time for Spring and Summer 2017, we are pleased to announce the release of our newest brew - AMIGO MEXICAN AMBER LAGER!
Crafted as a Vienna Style Lager, AMIGO (literally meaning FRIEND in Spanish), is brewed to be light in body, with a copper-orange/red colour. A pleasant malt aroma carries this easy drinking beer to a subtle hop finish. At only 4% ABV and 22 IBU, this is a highly sessionable beer that is sure to please many palates all year long!
AMIGO will be available year round starting May 1 throughout British Columbia. In keeping with our philosophy of offering all of our year round and seasonal beer in cans, you'll be able to grab AMIGO in 12-Pack cans from your favourite liquor store. You can also find it on draught at select locations in the Okanagan.
If you're going to Fest of Ale in Penticton this weekend, come by and see us for an advanced tasting; we'll be pouring AMIGO! And, if you're lucky enough to be in beautiful Kelowna, BC on Friday MAy 5, join us for the release of AMIGO at The Tree Brewing Beer Institute for a CINCO DE MAYO Fiesta featuring buckets of AMIGO, and Mexican inspired cuisine all day long! Check out the details below or click here!
Whats going on At the Beer Institute
Things are always changing at the Beer Institute in Kelowna. In the last month we tapped a Black IPa, a SMaSH Pale Ale and a Munich Lager, Captivator Doppelbock, and Harry Porter.
Brewmaster Dave is always creating new beers to go on tap at the Beer Institute. Right now in the tanks he is brewing Oktoberfest, an English Bitter, an Alt Bier and a Cream Ale. Keep an eye on the Beer Institute Instagram feed to know when these get tapped.
Be sure to check out our events page to see what is happening today at the Beer Institute.
